When I lived in San Antonio I used to dream about an event like this. I would ask myself, "Why aren't there any fabulous fashion shows in this city?". That is why it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside to see that not only is there going to be a very fabulous fashion show in San Antonio, but it's also for a great cause! The Women of Couture Fashion show is going to be at the Witte Museum next Friday evening and they will be raising funds for Charity Water, a non-profit organization that builds wells of clean drinking water in developing nations. More information about the charity here: http://www.charitywater.org/
The show promises to be fierce! There is a "Doll Asylum" theme, which is very fitting for the upcoming Halloween festivities. Sushi Zushi has also agreed to cater the event! Yummmmmz. I regretfully will not be able to attend since I live on a deserted island but I'm glad that my hometown is finally becoming more fashion-forward. I urge all of my San Antonians to attend the fashion show for a night of beautiful couture, a great cause and delicious sushi!
Reception starts at 8:00 PM, show starts at 9:15 PM. Witte Museum is at 3801 Broadway, San Antonio, TX 78209. Tickets and additional information here: http://womenofcouture.com/
